We believe crypto payments should be transparent, predictable, and under the builder's control. Too many gateways still behave like middlemen: percentage commissions, surprise network fees at checkout, and limited visibility into how wallets and settlements actually work.
Argon exists to replace that stack with a simpler model—100% decentralized payment flows, custodian-monitored on-chain verification, and pricing based on transactions rather than a cut of every payment.

3. How Argon Works
When a payment is created, Argon can generate a unique wallet address for that payment so transfers are easy to match and track. A custodian component of the Service monitors the chain in real time and, where enabled for your plan, can cover network fees so payers send the stated amount without unexpected gas deductions at checkout.
Settlement happens on public blockchains. Status in Argon reflects on-chain observation—not a private ledger we invent. That design is intentional: less secrecy, more auditability for merchants who need to know when a transfer actually cleared.
